The GPFA Scholarship 2025/2026 is now open for eligible African students seeking financial support to pursue higher education. This fully funded scholarship programme provides much more than tuition assistance. It offers a complete educational support package designed to help talented students from disadvantaged backgrounds achieve their academic and career goals.
The scholarship is funded by the Gbowee Peace Foundation Africa (GPFA), an organisation founded by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Leymah Gbowee. The Foundation is committed to improving access to quality education for young Africans, including students living with disabilities and those from low-income families.
The GPFA Scholarship is often referred to as a 360-degree scholarship because it covers various aspects of a student's educational journey. The programme supports students academically, financially, and professionally.
Unlike many scholarships that only cover tuition fees, GPFA also provides accommodation support, stipends, mentorship, internship opportunities, and additional educational resources to help beneficiaries succeed both during and after their studies.
